Irvane Spracklin has participated
in many public and community art shows and projects. These three
images show the concepts and designs she executed while taking
part in local sculpture decorating art events for Moorestown,
Mt. Holly and Burlington County, NJ. Roughly a dozen sculptures
of each subject were painted, each with the individual artist's
own unique flair. Projects such as these can be seen all around
our country. Santa Fe's got horses and in Vermont it's cows.
These painting events support artists, raise cultural awareness
and add interest to our towns and parks.
Mount Holly, Moorestown and Burlington
County successfully promoted decorated sculptures as their public
art projects. Artists were invited to create a variety of designs
for each statute. Mount Holly chose the Monkey, Moorestown the
RCA Nipper Dog and Burlington County the majestic Eagle. Unfortunately
my Historic Mount Holly Monkey incurred unexpected notoriety
by being stolen from its outdoor installation.
